Birka on Björkö is an ancient monument and nature reserve with a rich and distinctive flora, an "eldorado" for everyone who is interested in antiquity and beautiful nature. Birka is considered to be Sweden's first city which for a time was Sweden's trade center and the Viking capital. When we dock at Björkö, take a walk up to the museum. There the guided tours around the island begin. We visit the summer events, hike up the lookout hill and continue along the old castle ramparts. The walk ends with a visit to the island's renowned Viking Museum. The price of the trip also includes a visit to the beautiful museum, which opened in the summer of 1996 and shows, among other things, how the inhabitants of Birka lived in the 8th century.
