What a pleasure to receive the award Kringelst\u00e4lle of the Year in S\u00f6dert\u00e4lje.<\/h3>
Ulf Fransberg and Gert Ekstr\u00f6m were invited to the closing festivities of S\u00f6dert\u00e4lje's Business Week on 17 April and received the award as Kringelst\u00e4lle of the Year 2025 from the municipality's representatives.

A clear message from all S\u00f6dert\u00e4lje residents that Ejdern is and remains the finest thing the city has to offer.

S \/ S Ejdern was built in 1880 at Gothenburg's mechanical workshop to go in coastal traffic in the Gothenburg archipelago and was launched on 14 May the same year. Between the years 1898 and 1906, Ejdern trafficked the waters around Lake Roxen to eventually end up in S\u00f6dert\u00e4lje.<\/p>

If you are 16 years or older and want to try seafaring. Then you are welcome to contact the Office via\u00a0e-mail<\/a>\u00a0or by phone. If you think it's fun and want to continue, we will help you with safety training and a medical certificate for seafarers. A small detail is that we in the crew work voluntarily. Focus in 2026\/27<\/p>

There are three things we will focus on, the boiler, the hull and the upper deck. We have a quote for the boiler repair which we will proceed with. We are actively seeking funding to replace additional sections of hull plating next winter and to sand and repaint the upper deck.<\/p>
