The Midsummer weekend is now over, as is the welding job to replace the leaking stay bolt.
The work has been completed and approved, including a test print. See the images below.
We in the club are delighted that the work has gone so smoothly and that our lovely Ejdern will soon be setting sail again.
The season will kick off with a scheduled charter this Saturday, 27 June. The first Birka tour will take place on 11 July. There will be no Birka tour on 3 July, as Birka is closed to guests that weekend due to a large wedding. We may announce an alternative tour for that Saturday.
We’re all looking forward to a glorious summer and plenty of guests on board.
