Hej alla,Vi hade en första vårrustningsdag lördagen 16:e. Några tappra dök upp men mycket kvar att göra.Således ett nytt upprop för nästa lördag den 23:e maj att vi tar nya tag å fixar till vår fina Ejdern. Spring armour 16 May
On Saturday 16 May and possibly Sunday 17 May there will be spring cleaning on Ejdern. Go down to the ship and have fun and work a little at the same time. As usual, there will be cleaning, driving things to Enhörna, etc. And as if that wasn't enough, there will be sandwich cake, coffee and cake too. Gathering at 10:00 at the bridge.
Repair of the boiler
As previously reported, the Eider suffered a leak at a stay bolt in the late summer of 2025. After a lot of work with drawings, calculations and discussions with authorities and workshops, we are now close to the actual work of replacing the leaking stay bolt.
Maintenance continues
Focus in 2026/27 There are three things we will focus on, the Boiler, the Hull and the Upper Deck.We are actively seeking funding to be able to replace additional parts of the hull plate next winter and to sand and repaint the upper deck
s/s Ejdern won Kringelställe of the year 2025
What a pleasure to receive the award Kringelställe of the Year in Södertälje. Ulf Fransberg and Gert Ekström were invited to the closing festivities of Södertälje's Business Week on 17 April and received the award as Kringelställe of the Year 2025 from the municipality's representatives. A clear message from all Södertälje residents that Ejdern is and remains the finest the city has to offer.
